JourneyLand has been designed to lead your child on the most exciting journey of knowing Christ in a real and active way.
JourneyLand is offered on Sunday at 9am and 11am. The largest focus of our time will be a new approach to Sunday School. JourneyLand is a workshop rotation model learning program. This means your child will be studying the Bible using a hands-on, multi-dimensional approach. Each six-week period, all JourneyLand participants will engage in either storytelling, art, drama, geography/science, activities, and music/memory workshops, all focusing on the same Bible story. Each week builds a greater understanding and application for the Bible lesson in an active way. Your children will not be bored or entertained--they will be engaged in God’s truth!

Kids Choir KonneXion is for 4yr olds thru 6th graders. We meet on Sundays from 6pm to 7pm. The Kids Choir gathers in the Fireside room.

Celebrate Recovery Youth - How To Be With Your Attitude is a biblically-based program dedicated to helping children, 1st thru 5th grade, experience emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. CRY is a safe place for young people to talk about their feelings and struggles. We come together to rejoice in the good things that God is doing in our lives. We celebrate stepping out of pain and heartache into a life of joy and hope.

AWANA evangelizes, disciples, and trains children and youth to serve Christ. Awana uses games, handbook time, and counsel time to encourage the children and youth of our community to memorize scripture, support missions, and learn Biblical truths to apply to their daily lives. The Spring Hills Awana Program includes “clubs” currently for ages 2-yr olds through 6th grade. Each club includes key elements of games and activities, scripture memorization, handbooks, and awards.

Vacation Bible School is a week-long program during the summer consisting of Bible stories, songs, crafts, and more! The theme changes each year. Come check it out!

BLAST is a free After-School program for grades K-5 provided by the Look Up Center. It is a great place for children to have fun, get homework assistance and be encouraged. Arts and crafts, sports in our full-size gymnasium and a fun-filled gameroom! We also provide snack, tutoring and homework assistance.

SHBC Kids Kamp 2014 
Statewide Baptist Resident Camp for children going into grades 4-7 will be held Mon., July 28 – Fri., Aug. 1, 2014. It will be located at Seneca Lake Baptist Assembly Grounds in Senecaville, OH costing only $140.00/child. Application packets are available in our front SHBC Lobby and must be turned in by Sun., July 6th. Interested adult chaperones are also being sought. For further details see Pastor Gary. Thanks!
