AWANA evangelizes, disciples, and trains children and youth to serve Christ. Awana uses games, handbook time, and counsel time to encourage the children and youth of our community to memorize scripture, support missions, and learn Biblical truths to apply to their daily lives. The Spring Hills Awana Program includes “clubs” currently for ages 2-yr olds through 6th grade. Each club includes key elements of games and activities, scripture memorization, handbooks, and awards.

The founders of Awana derived the Awana name from the first letters of "Approved workmen are not ashamed" as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15 of the Bible.  Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.

The Awana program at Spring Hills Baptist Church is run by wonderful parent and teen volunteers who give their time each week to make sure that the Awana program is a fun, safe environment for your child.   You can register below to make sign in much easier.
